Description:Sergio Caminata, after having studied photography in Milan, in the 80' began contributing to the most important italian and international fashion magazines as Donna, Grazia, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Madame Figaro, Departures.

Some of his advertising campaigns were for Emporio Armani, Coca Cola and the French Socialist Party of president Francois Mitterand.

As director, from 1987 to 1990 he collaborate with the Mediaset television program "Nonsolomoda" and in 1991 he was awarded with the prize "New Faces in Europe" in Taormina.

In 1997 and 1998 Federico Motta Editore published his personal projects about the african tribes, Himba and Ndebele.

Some of his images are covers of Doris Lessing, Michael Korda, Ryszard Kapuscinski and the Nobel prize Nadine Gordimer books. Lives in Milan.
