| Description: | Marco Tassinari, born in Bologna in 1956, ever since he was a boy always had a great passion for photography. When he was 18 years old, he met the manager of the most important agency for car-racing photography in his hometown (the main town in the region of Emilia, Bologna) and was presented with the opportunity of becoming a professional photographer for various newspapers at car-racing events in Italy and France. After some years he left sport and started his own personal research in photography, portraying the models of the moment: he created pictures at the same time essential yet filled with emotions. Since then, he has worked together with his wife, Patrizia, analysing every tiny detail: locations, stylists, make-up, hair and casting, thus constructing a personal as well as refined image. He has cooperated with famous publishers, advertising agencies and firms. Today he works in Milan, Paris and London but continues to live in a small medieval village near Bologna. |
